  • Lessons are available 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm. Lessons are subject to instructor schedules.

  • Yes, night lessons are available however do incur a surcharge. These lessons are subject to instructor schedules.

  • Standard lessons option are -

    60 minutes

    90 minutes

    120 minutes

    Intensive Lessons options are -

    4 hours

    8 hours

  • Pick up and drop off locations are negotiated at time of booking. Common pick up and drop off locations are home, work or school.

  • A valid permit

    Sensible footwear

    Driver’s Companion Handbook (where applicable)

    Translation of overseas permit (where applicable)

  • The great thing preparing for VORT is an ongoing dialogue about client progress. Both the student and instructor can negotiate the training plan based on ability, available time and financial constraints.

  • 24 hours notice is required for lesson cancellations and rescheduling. Full lesson fee is required for insufficient notice.

    72 hours notice is required for VORT cancellations. Full fee is required for insufficient notice.

  • ASM Driver Intuition is a driver training and VORT testing centre, and does not offer CBT&A.

    We teach the practical applications of everyday driving and feel VORT and training in preparation for VORT creates more competent and confident road users. Training for VORT allows us to include clients and their families in the learning process and value this input.

  • There is never a wrong time to engage an instructor. Some students will benefit most by starting training right at the beginning. Some find having an instructor refine skills before a test the best use of the instructor. We welcome all challenges.

  • ASM Driver Intuition loves a good deal! Contact us to see how we can tailor a lesson package to your needs.

  • BF or Booking Fee is added by the Department for Infrastructure & Transport. This fee is non-refundable.

  • Yes!

    We will still give you the $10 credit on your next lesson, even if your friend has completed their training with us.

  • Certainly!

    Any supervisory driver can come for the first lesson. Sometimes new situations can be scary or sometimes supervisory drivers just want to know they are teaching the right things.

    We ask that we are informed prior to ready a spot in the car and that supervisory drivers are respectful to the lesson process.

  • ASM Driver Intuition can teach you in your own Manual vehicle but does not supply a Manual training vehicle.

  • VORT Prime - A driving assessment including the booking fee. This is done in your own vehicle and you will make your own way to the test.

    VORT Plus - A driving assessment including the booking fee. This option has a supplied vehicle and you will make your own way to the test.

    VORT Premium - A driving assessment including the booking fee. This option has door to door service. A lesson will be conducted prior to the test and use of a supplied vehicle.
